Cute pup Don Jr ......If you have the same luck I do, a couple of doggie treats and he'll be bringing you're dad his slippers, paper and the correct combination wrences from you're tool box in no time
Roland Chrysler did some things back then that just make you scratch you're head. When I got into the early Hmei's years ago I had heard that all the industerials had the adjustable valve trains. All the Chyysler Industerial valve covers I've come across have had the dimples.....and the ones I've personally taken apart have had hydraulic lifters and non-adjustable rockers.
I wonder who pee'd in his dog food.
HE! HE! HE!
Kurt
Odd indeed.....I guess Mr. Chrysler just used what he had lying around (which I guess makes him a true hot rodder):) So the adjustable valvetrain was only on the solid engines then right?
Yes I think someone took that dogs "sqeak toy"
If he just protects my tools I will be happy (dan and dad are sneaky!)
Actually I lied a bit. Below is a picture of my ACTUAL atack dog:rolleyes:
Don Jr.
Stovens,
That picture cracked me up too. :LOL:I about lost my lunch when I saw it. Too funny.
Hey Big tracks...Is that a Dog or a fox? Cool looking!
Don Jr
I like protection Dawgs as well. However sometimes its better to take a different tack especially when it comes to Tools. So here is my shop guard "Canine" staying sharp!!!
Roland
That is too cool.........................I bet he is an accurate shot too!:LOL:

Maddog, to answer your question, Mike's excellent Rochester 2 G thread is here:

I saved it because I intend on using the info when I do the 3 carbs on my Olds 394.

Steve,,is that one of PWs WHEKE intakes from down here??looks like it..I will be seeing Peter this weekend[I hope],as we are going to an annual Mid Winter swap meet etc,,and he is hoping to be there..I will ask him if he has any plans for other units,as I think they will sell well, moreso up there than down here,as we havent managed to get too many of those little hemis out from under you guys yet...:D.Will let you know more next week..
Yes i believe so Robin, The top is separate so can be changed for a number of configurations, nice bit of kit.
From what I understand there are two Desoto blocks, one is a high deck and the other a low deck. I think those manifolds fit the high deck but Don has the low deck model. I could be wrong on that, but that is how I recall it.
Vintage Speed makes an intake for the low deck models, I believe. I'm out of my element here, I have never played with one of these, but Don will know which he has.

Yes,Don..These are for the high deck block..I think he also does Rocker covers too..By now,the new top section to suit the blower should be done..I will find out on Sunday about his developments..and also find out if he is gunna do a low block version,as he has a few guys down here with them,,including Noddy Watts,of Beach Hop,,who has just brought one in.
Steve,I think he has three different configurations for the top, four, when the wheezer one is done..:D
Techinspector- That 36 Plymouth is beautiful. What a car. I still have the hemi waiting for something! Don Jr.:)
Sorry, having trouble posting replies, it keeps saying "you dont have permission to perform this operation" What the hell????? It keeps making me log in again, very frusterating:mad:
Pops, I have a 1955 low deck 291 engine. Hopefully this will post. Don Jr.
Didnt see PW and his intake..will catch up with him somewhere and see if he is gunna do a low deck version..
