Happy birthday Jerry. Nice pics of the dragster. Brings back memories of the cars with custom paint jobs when I was in High School. Must of been cool racing that bad boy!
The last one was--the first was some guy at the body shop of a boat racer friend
Cerny said the problem was that it had no contrast and looking at the pic you can tell he was 100% correct
Cerny painted it, Nat Quick was supposed to letter it but doped out so Cerny got Kenny Youngblood in and he was very nervous about it as it was one of his first jobs but did an awsome job.
Everybody, thanks for the B day wishes and comments on my car
Jerry
You could do worse than having Kenny Youngblood for "backup"!
Cerny seemed to always come up with stunning paint schemes!
Happy Birthday! That dragster is amazing. No other words to describe it. Don Jr

That blue color on the roadster has a nice metallic "flop" ...which is the word they have for the illuminated vs. non-illuminated metallic.
Some metallics have a stronger flop, which to me is more desireable for a flat finish.
