Question for you, given it will be a while before I start on the body work, is it worth shooting some paint over the surface rust to keep it from progressing? I am in a relatively dry climate, we get rain for 4-5 months then none for the rest of the year. The car will be parked outside. If spraying some paint is a good idea, what do you recommend and should I do anything in way of prep besides getting it clean?
