Still can't get over what great condition the body is in Bobby!!! Only time I've built an "A" with last rust it was a 'glass car!!!! The top wood really looks nice! When my Dad was still alive top wood and the wood for the chebbie's were his favorite winter projects, he made them all from scratch... What are you going to use for fabric on the roof?Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Lookin awesome with the wood kit, as Dave says what a nice model a body
Mine was the junk nobody wanted
I have noticed the body panels seams to be stamped differently. Henrys die must have been out of wack

The frame is all ready for the blasters now. I have a few things I still want to do , but it will be shiny when I do them .

Good long week end , had the time to get the rear end cleaned and painted . Now it's all the little suspension stuff up next . Hopefully get the frame back early this week have a few more things to do . Then I can get it painted , think it's going to be John Deere blitz black . Like what I have read about it's satin finish .

Oh one more I did get a nice 1969 302 engine from my neighbor . He pulled it from his 65 Mustang he is building retro with FI . It has the 58 CC heads sporting a stock 9.5-1 compression . With the 268H comp cam this should have a little Giddy - Up - Go . Been in his garage 10 years block is not rusted and the bores had a light surface rust already have that removed . The also measured stock 4 inch bore sweet . The bottom rotating assembly has been balanced shows on the rods where they machined away material on the bottom of the rod cap .
