Ok, ur good here but that without the famouse pinto mod, Uh, you got to do the mod cause the car is cool without it but it's Awsome with it. If you do not know what the mod is it is simply, getting a 1980-1987 ( I belive ) T Bird engine, rippin out the pinto motor and putting the T bird power in place of it. I'v seen these rip on the tracks with the little Turbo 6. The bird motor is suppose to just bolt right up. It might have been the Turbo 4 bangger that just bolts up but, you'll still have a performance increse. This is just a suggestion.
never under estimate the power of a pinto! 2.3s rock!!
Yeah, I know the orig engines were nice but it would be soooo cool to see a Pinto wagon with smoke rolling off the tires.
I had a buddy that had a 79 pinto(non wagon) with 2.3, 4 spd, header, shaved head and progressive 2brl that would smoke a lot of SBs in athe quarter(not all) but a lot!
Actually ive seen a pinto with an injected 2.3 smoke a camaro with a built 427 sb. The pinto just hooked up that well, instead of just burning rubber and sitting there.
Suedeplymouth; Right and what was the 427 in, A TANK!!! LMAO!!!

well any wase at school we took a 1979 pinto coup(I gess youed call it you know the small two door ones) and we tubbed it and put a small block 350 in it and it hauls ass much fasert than it was before But sill it wouldn't touch a built 427 and a stock pinto wouldn't touch it dose about 12.5s on the drage strip Ill take a picture of it and post it tommorow
Chevyman; I wonder If he even knows what a 427 looks like. Because it sounds like he might have been looking at a honda!
I've seen turbo 4 mustangs (same engine as in the pinto) that run 11's.
