Project POS
Well, I'v had this vision of somthing I'v been wanting to do for a year now, of cutting a square body small truck up, reconstructing the cowl, adding rake to the roof and building a custom hotrod on the small pickup chassis... found a '92 Ranger 4x4 that's solid where I need it.. think I'm getting it for $350.. it's missing all door handles ( coat hanger opens drivers door ). A pilliars are rusted out, but none of that stuff matters.. should be fun to fire up the saws allLast edited by Matt167; 10-07-2009 at 08:58 AM.

Welcome to CHR. I think that you need to hook up your vacuum advance. At part throttle when cruising you have less air and fuel in each cylinder, and the air-fuel mixture is not as densely packed...
