It never ceases to amaze me the affinity for older Yank iron down that way. I don't think I've ever seen a fuelie '57 4 door up this way either.
    Thanks

Was a great day, just a small local show in a nice location.
The larger events start in a few weeks time starting with the Stragglers show at Cambridge (usually between 500-800 american cars/rods), Kumeu and Muscle car madness end Jan, then Beachhop, Americarna, Scroungers Blowout and Nostalgia drags March/April. There is basically something on every weekend from now till late April.

There is some amazing American iron showing up at these events and some quite rare.

Will stop being lazy and will post pics or links here in the future.
    Thanks Robin..

    Cheers
    Ross

No wonder we can't find any decent American iron anymore, you guys have it all down there.

Jack,I didnt look close enough, there are DOZENS of Buicks of that vintage down here now, dont get me wrong,I like them, but its time for a few more Oldsmobiles to surface..
Tech,,you are not wrong,,we have had a buying spree over the last few years or so..and our exchange rate has been good too..About $1.27NZ for an American dollar right now..I dont recall seeing it that good...and I cant afford to spend ..
Coyote,no probs, come down anytime..summers is best, obviously, but as Ross said, things are warming up now,and there are events every weekend..The Stragglers Charity display is two weeks away, and yes,up to 800 cars will squeeeze in,gold coin donation, excellent venue..
Thanx for the comments,guys..between Ross and us,we should be able to show ya most of whats happening down here..Oy,Lifestylz,are you listening,,some pix from you too please,Clive,,and I will catch up with ya soon..

I've got the camera warmed up and I never miss Cambridge.
It is such a cool laid back event with a huge variety to see.
And yes, 800+ is a usual number.
