I got your e-mail, but for some reason I can't seem to e-mail you back without getting a mail-rejection error... Is there another e-mail address that I can reach you at?...
Let me know...

:D Ron...I know what ya mean about getting older.....I have a 34x25 garage I'm working on now..same for me..getting a hoist and also can tell you I also priced that checkerboard floor......yikes......no way Jose. But decided to used the tiles in small area to accent whole space.Good luck with your project............Vetteman (Jerry Lester)Quote:

I bought an electric lift and installed it and its great I can keep one car on the rack, one underneath the rack and one adjacent. I still have room for a workbench and to walk around in. What would cap the whole thing would be checkered floor tile (black and white) but they get a little pricey.
Jerry,
Tell me more about the floor tiles.
The concrete floors in our new "home" are terrible..Oil stained, cracked and uneven.
Not sure of the best way to proceed.
Do I try to:
- Resurface (Fill & Grind)
- Pour a thin top coat of new concrete
- Fill & epoxy coat
- fill & floor tile
I want the floors to be easy to maintain and withstand oil/chemical spill.
suggestions?
Tom

'preciate your help!
I'll keep ya all posted on the progress.
Right now it's basicly cleaning...what a mess!
We're presently working on plans...probably start destruction/construction by Christmas.
It's kind of a long story how we ended up with this place...essentially it was the location that we wanted and our persistance paid off. (3 years of negotiating)
Hey Tom, I think ya otta keep that steeple there, looks kind neat!!:3dSMILE:

Dave,
I received the pictures that you scanned... they look GREAT!
I'll try & recruit someone here that can teach me how to put these

and Oh... I think I like the steeple...now if I hang a chain hoist where the bell used to be....

Dave Brisco....you sneaky old fart....I was beginning to think you just faded away into Hot Wheels Heaven. Good to see your name involved with Hot Rods as I always knew you would. Still miss the get togethers and most of all all the friends we made. Found this site looking for cool garages. Brent also runs our site as well www.clubcobra.com.

Gary, I Knew that was you when I saw GEM427!!! How the heck have you been?... I was thinking about you just the other day, just wondering if you were still around and what you've been up to... I'm guessing that you still have that awesome Cobra so maybe we can meet up at a car show somewhere between here and there and hang out!!!
Good to hear from you!!!

OK, ohekk's garage is a lot neater, but I'm going to be glad to have all my cars in one spot after ten years of scrounging garages here and there. This will be a BIG improvement over the old garage in my gallery:)
