"Chet" Herbert dies at 81.
Chet Herbert, Drag Racing Hall Of Fame member, was disabled by polio at a young age. He didn't let the wheel chair slow him down. Credited for developing roller cams, the first to use nitro in a dragster, the developer of "zoomie" headers, not to mention famous cam manufacturer and more, died of neumonia at 81.Last edited by HOTRODPAINT; 04-25-2009 at 01:53 PM.
