Hey 36 Chevy -
I'm also building a 36 chevy 2 door standard sedan with a SBC (actually it's a '94 LT1 engine). I got a great deal on an aluminum radiator for a 34 ford. The guy that I bought it from was building a 440 HP engine and decided he wanted a radiator that had the trans cooler built in (I don't have a problem with a frame mounted trans cooler). So I know this radiator can handle my 350 hp engine.

I fabricated a new radiator mount that is now welded on the frame. It integrates the front fendor mounts and the radiator into a single unit. It is all fabriacted in and I have the fan shroud with 2 electric fans mounted also. Because I set the radiator as far forward as I could, I have plenty of room for the LT1.

There is plenty of room on the top to use the offset fill and I also integrated the top radiator mounts where the rods would mount for the 34 ford into the top of the housing for the 36 chevy so in other words - The radiator ain't going anywhere. The radiator is mounted on rubber pads so not to produce excessive wear on the radiator mounts too. She's a nice fit! Since my buddy wanted to get rid of the excess parts, I got this "new in the box" radiator for $250.00. Can you say, I got a great "Find" ???
