Restoring my Ranger

Passing by a local used dealership, I saw a very nice new arrival, used truck. a 2002 Ford Ranger Edge supercab stepside. 4.0L/ 4x4 auto, loaded.. just it was special ordered without the Edge decals on the bed ( vehicle history report the dealer provided me shows it was a special order vehicle, and delivered with 5 miles on it ).. 1 owner, 82,000 miles, and immaculate shape.. It's red and really pops... dealer wants $7,749 for it, and it books for over 10k... he is willing to go out on a limb and give me $695 for my beater Ranger which is a screaming deal... I do have a refundable deposit on it good until tuesday, but getting the loan is prooving to be somewhat of a challange so it may not work out 4 me.... in which case, I will be restoring my Ranger, or at least making it look decent to drive for a couple more years... so I will need a new bed ( old 1 is too far gone to fix ), 1 front fender and some rocker work, along with 1 new headlight assembly, a new grille, and of course paint.. I also want to replace the sagging headliner, put a hurst shifter in it, and a tonnau cover, if I am to keep it... probably more work than it's worth, with 201,000 but, I'll have somthing nice anyway... maby get a short bed and a crew cab, as that will fit on my frame, I think.
