A better vent might be a separate fitting on the top of the tank and a line exiting to the rear of the car with a filter on the end of it to keep dirt and moisture from getting into the fuel system....Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

I still need to put in a sending unit maybe I can run this vent tube through the top of that.
