Yep, you described it perfectly, it looked like a superduty scoop. I am kicking myself for not taking more pictures, but there were so many spectators there that you had to stand around until the crowd parted to get most shots. Next time these cars show up somewhere I'll be sure to get more.

Here's another picture with the scoop pointing forward on a '59, you can see the chrome grille that they had, should have been on the Pontiac that way too.
Never have had a '35. I've got the '36 roadster, and have had a 5 window coupe that's in my gallery, as well as the first '36 that was a sedan.Quote:

Not so; they're both gorgeous!:D I would hate to have to judge these two cars against each other. They are both impeccably detailed and CLEAN looking. If the judges were using ISCA show judging sheets, they may have awarded Don Jr. bonus points for the chrome windshield frame and hubcaps. That's the only thing I can think of that would delineate between them... Or maybe they flipped a coin.:eek::D:LOL::LOL::LOL:Quote:

Congrats Don! Also when its in the mid 30's here in Oklahoma its nice to see pictures of a car show where its warm.
It was a great show. Pops left too soon and when they called me up for the 1st place trophy many people offered their assistance as a "character" witness that I won 1st and dad took second:):) Actually pops should have won, but I will take this "default" win:3dSMILE: I attached a pics of the trophys and a picture of us right before the show.
