He actually had brought Piston knobs to sell and sign. It was $25 for a signed piston knob. Paul was funny he said "the knob is worth more if I dont sign it" Funny guy! It was not the real coupe behind him unfortunately. He said he has a new DVD coming out where they take the "real" coupe across country and that should be out soon. He said he is going to be acting on the "sci fi" channel in a new show there soon too. Man do I want to build a 32 5 window now!

Just don't chop the grille shell and then stick in front of a stock height firewall/body. I always thought the "Grafitti Coupe" was cool except for that one detail. The grille looks goofy and out of proportion.
I remember reading in an article once that the car had a stock height shell when the studio bought it. George Lucas didn't like how the engine looked so small sitting so low in the frame behind the stock grille shell, so he had it chopped to make the engine look bigger. I guess it worked for the movie, but IMHO it ruined the overall proportions...

So, while Don was basking in the warm Florida sun, rubbing elbows with movie stars, Dan and I were knee deep in moving.
Don did offer to come help, but we had it handled, so we really didn't need him . Besides, he is still Star Struck from meeting his hot rod hero. (ok, mine too)
Now Don can say he has met Norm Grabowski (at Daytona a few years ago) and now Milner.........how cool is that?
I just got my computer hooked back up a few minutes ago from the move.....I was having forum withdrawl. At least we got to sleep in the new place last night, so that is something, I guess.

I offered to help with their move! Moving stinks! I now have met two of my hot rodding heros, Norm and Milner!
I agree Bill, It would be nice to have a roof sometimes, save the roadster for the beach weather! I promised my girlfriend that my next car would have a back seat of some sort for her 5 year old daughter to ride with us. Thats why the tbird was purchased.
Now if I could only meet Danica Patrick!
