35window, when I was a kid the first few years I started going, starting in '58 or so, it was held at the National Western Stock show at the old arena area. It was held there until the Colosieum was built in downtown Denver then the show moved.
If memory serves it was "The Sabres of Denver Thanksgiving car show". We always went to the show until I was 18. After that life got in the way, family moved you know the drill. I went a couple of different times over the years but now we are back here in Colorado we are trying to make it a family guys thing with the older nephews and grand sons.

    G.R.,

I think the National Western Stock Show and the Colosseum are the same place-right off of I-70 and Brighton Blvd right? the Arena is on the north side of I-70 and the Colosseum is on the south side.

You must be right on the name of the Show-guess old age IS creep[ing in-

Thanks for the pictures-looks like an awesome show-

Wow. Kool. Thanks. I remember going to McNickles Arena (The Old Colosieum) and taking it all in. Back then had some friends that would show there. Knew a few Sabre's back then. One of them had a kool 58 Impala.

Very cool pics. Some super nice work. I like the 200hp fuel injected flathead and the El Camino with the 57Chev rear end. Some pretty unique and classic stuff in those shots.
