New 63 Nova Wagon
Well I am picking up my new Chevy II Nova Wagon on Friday! The wagon is all original besides motor. Interior is in great shape, small rust holes under the floor but that is about it. All glass in great shape, interior has no rips, tears or wear in the headliner, visors, seats, etc. It has a mildly built 327 with Performer intake (I have a Holley Street Dominator I may put on it instead) and Edelbrock carb (I am changing it to a Holley as well that I have here). Behind the motor is the original powerglide transmission and rear end. I have a new TH350 tranny sitting here that I am going to use for now until I can afford a 700R4.
The car runs and drives, it was in original paint but was faded so he sanded it down to the original primer and left it. Since I do body work I have all meterials besides basecoat to get it painted. All I plan to do to this car besides body and paint work is all new rubber, window felt, new bumpers, front and power disk brake conversion, multi leaf springs in the rear. The reason I bought this car is because I started a mobile detailing company and wanted something old to drive around that looks cool and grabs people's attention and still be good to cruise to the beach and pull a small 6 foot trailor lightly loaded with materials and pressure washer.
The car has all the trim and parts. Wheels are 14 inch rallies with center caps and beauty rings. I will leave these and the tires on it for now until I need new tires, then I may buy some 15 inch steelies and white walls for a different look. Here are some pictures of the car! I think I got a pretty decent deal on it but that's just me. The engine picture will not load but heres the rest...
BTW: the car is from New York with original dealer emblem on the tailgate still and I thought it would be rusty but the guy bought it over 11 years ago and it's been garaged. I was lucky to find only 3 spots of rust on the entire car.www.streamlineautocare.com
If you wan't something done right, then you have to do it yourself!
