Looking for Midwestern drag car picture
Mach1joe had a good idea with his similar thread. :-)
In '66-'68 I spent a couple years helping a friend build a B/Gas Austin sedan. He was Wayne Danner from Danville Illinois. The car was a '49-'51 Austin sedan called "Mother's Pearl". It was painted and driven by Arlyn Fulk, and was quite striking in white pearl with dramatic graphics. Power was an injected Hemi with a clutchflite.
I moved west a few years later, and lost touch with them. Unfortunately, today I take pictures of everything...but not then. :-(

Did you ever call Arlyn? I'd bet he might have something in his port folio. What if the "Hokey Pokey" is what it's really all about?

Sounds like you know him. I lost touch a while back, but I just found a current number and left a message.

Have you already tried www.gassermadness.com ? They have a lost and found section for postings like this.Your Uncle Bob, Senior Geezer Curmudgeon
It's much easier to promise someone a "free" ride on the wagon than to urge them to pull it.
Luck occurs when preparation and opportunity converge.
