Betcha you could go to a narrower Hoosier radial and speed the car up.... That baby mouse has such low torque even the old bias ply will hook... Dragging all that extra tire all the way down the track isn't necessarily good...... Ideally, you want the rear tires to be the narrowest tire you can hook the car with. Reduces drag and rolling resistance, ergo faster times.... Like to see what the car would do with the same height tire, but a 9" or 9.5 slick...... Look what the 10.5" tire rule cars run......
