Well its gone
But before it left i did have to see just one tire spin since it had a peg leg rear end . Just like i thought it would do it layed down a great patch and i let off . It still wanted to go and if the 4 spd would have been in it i think i would have hid it before the new owner got here LOL nnnaaa just kidding . Those BB in the mustangs do run .
My son had knocked a hole in rad when it was in the drive a while back . Thats the leak you see no warm up time at all .
Now its going to be 2 weeks before the replacement can be picked up the guy went on vacation out of the country . But cyder and sleep will help the time move by i hope .

i've always wanted one of those...

Hate to see every one go very hard to come by at entry level . But needed to move it to fund next one . At 52 only see one more that i want to work on after that i hope the toys are reachable in a driving stage to enjoy .

That was a great movie, it was really something seeing it from the balcony section every time the wheels came off the ground it was makig me dizzy. The first movie I saw before I got married, maybe thay's why she stayed with me, she like cars also she had a new 68 Cougar. She wanted a Mustang but where she worked her boss told her the Cougar was a better built car. If she would have bought the Mustang we would still have had it. I traded her car for a 68 Impala SS 396, she still holds that against me. It must have been 69 when that movie came out or the end of 68.

It is always sad to see a old friend go away. When I watched my frist Camaro that I had for ten years pull out of the driveway,I almost cried, was sick for days.
-
I had a 68 sedan back in the 80's. 302, c4 nice car! I remember crested the top of the grapevine(southern Ca.) in the mountains, doing 105mph, instinct told me to cool it on the way down the other side, 1/2 mile later pasted a CHP doing 60mph....thank you god! :D
I still miss mine too. Maybe if it was a fastback, I'd still have it!

Bobby a sad day for sure. I've let more than my share go and still looking back today I regret it!!! LOL but to make room for a new project is a fun tradeoff. And if it was really in your heart what you wanted to do then it's the right choice. I do love those fastback big blocks though!!
Bullitt is by far one of my all time favorite movies. I never get tired of watching that car chase!!!
Well good luck with the new project!!!

if it was really in your heart what you wanted to do
Guys i know this brings out the pics of the one you let go for what ever reason .
FFR if I was thinking with my heart it would still be here aahh . I remember you and I talking when I sold the 68 T code a few years back . My head was doing all the thinking and it leans some heavy on one side LOL. Well the next one is a tough one to get at entry also and hopefully someday Ill get a driver BB fastback nothing fancy just for some fun .

I'be sold a lot of cool ones but if you're like me, that's the only way to afford the next one. The new owner should really enjoy it, Bobby. Looks like he's getting a cool ride. So what's the replacement?

Falcon i think your coupe may be the culprit LOL . I have put the deposit down on a 37 Ford 5 window coupe and will be road tripping to get it on the 18th . Some of it has been done and hope the build moves quickly . Like before the next 4 years LOL . I need to live next to all of you car nuts to keep me focused and working on one .
-
Wow...great looking coupe...love the 37, looks solid...congrats
-
Now that's going to be slick! The only way they'll get my coupe is pry it from my cold, dead hands.:D
-
