Where to buy a key turn ready 32 HiBoy?

Hi everbody,

my name is Marc from Germany. I’m new here to this forum.

I searched for quite a while for shops in the US where I can purchase a key-turn ready Hot Rod built to my specification. The style I’m looking for is those 32 HiBoy Roadster So-Cal Speedshop style. I send those So-Cal guys already several emails to get a quote and the delivery time for a complete car, but no response yet.

During my search in the internet I found another company which offer complet cars for a really affordable price:

Now my question: Do you guys know this company and can you suggest me this company or do you even have other shops/companys you can suggest me which are able to build key-turn ready rides?

Any info I would really appreciate.

Fastlane is a Kansas City base of operations (actually Mission, KS just across the state line), and the shop where the cars are built is over in south central Missouri, a smaller rural area away from the city. Jack (last name has left me now) lives in Mission, builds lots of cars, and has focused on '32 3-windows and roadsters as can be seen from his many ads on HotRodHotline. I have not been to his shop, but I think Jack builds a pretty good product if it is what you want - premium roller chassis, glass body, crate engine & tranny finished out to a complete package.
You might consider putting together a spec sheet of the things you want on your car, and run it by a few places. DA34GUY who posted here, Fastlane, KENNYD who posts here, and perhaps others to see who you think you can work with best from long distance to get you to a happy ending.

it all depends on price you want to spend . if you want a low price like 40's yes fastlane builds that price of car . BUT be prepaired for some shortcuts . if you want to spend 50-60k for a better car then look for another builder .
and yes i do have a 32 3 window highboy about to be finished . 55k is the price .

Mine usually sell in the 39 to 45 range.

I build cars, but I'm tired of Deuces, my price starts at $100K and I should be able to start on it in a couple years... I've seen Kenny's builds, really first rate!!!!!!

Why build one? There are hundreds+ out there for sale that can be bought for a fraction of what it will cost to build one. 32's are everywhere! Do a little shopping and you'll find the car of your dreams.

Where?? All I seem to see are the cars where someone has paid shops to do every task, specified exotic materials that add bling but no function, and then wants to recover the full costs plus a profit. "Spent over $65k and yours for only $75,000!" Such a deal! Guess my problem is champagne tastes and beer budget.

If Ken charged $100/hr it would be a $1M car and his level of expertise is worth a lot more. As stated, beer budget and champagne tastes. Ken's would come with caviar, too!

You won't find many fire sale prices on anything even on things that are available in large volumes. But if you look enough you can find some exceptional deals. You might have to make some compromises, but the core value will be there. I see them all the time on various websites and even in car mags that have "For Sale" sections. You've just got to be dilligent and patient in your searches.
