The original socket was not out of round, the contacts on the bottom were worn out, and I couldn't use a simple pigtail kit because the back of the original socket had spade terminals right on it. I'v arleady installed the billet aluminum socket, I just need the correct bulb to fit it.. I think I'll get another socket for the other side, so I can run 2 of the same bulbs.
