Since my project car parts are still all over the house, I'll be in the swap meet lot on Friday late AM - Sunday AM, probably in space 13 or 14, with my big ol' black F350 and a bed (partially) full of never to be used by me goodies ready to be treasured by the next owner
.
(Now, let's see, ~850 total trip miles @13 mpg = 65 gallons of gas x $4/gallon = $260 + $140 for a room + $100 food = $500 (for an expensive weekend in the sun and forever rain at York
)

Dave, you better be selling a lot of your goodies and treasures if you intend to get back home.

Saw the weather forecast for next week this morning. Supposed to be beautiful...... thru Friday. 70's and 80's during the day, upper 50's and low 60's at night. CRUISING WEATHER!!
Of course, we all know weather people lie, so don't forget your rain gear.

You are sooooooooo funny.. C'mon, Mopar Guys PAY TO BE DIFFERENT. You all (Ford & Chevy Guys) know that. I'm so used to lookin forever and payin more for my stuff, that I usually make my own brackets to bolt it all too.

moparme wrote:Yes we commute. As for parking, I usually try to park on the grass to the right of the Toyota Center just after coming in the gate. It's just south of the swap meet area. Wife likes it there because you can see the cars coming and going and it's close to the Toyota Center restrooms (very important).Bob - Are you drivin back to Stewartstown every nite? like the engine, trans, driveshaft and IRS. I'll try to catch up with you in the Ford junk area.

Usually not too bad at 0900 when they open - but 1000 - good luck!!!! Just don't "harm" your wife - she just forgot. Her penance will be to wait in line while you wander the Holiday Inn parking lot

Being hot (upper 80's or 90's) is almost as bad as rain, except my windshield don't leak with heat.
But that hot this time of year with the humidity is bad, bad, bad. Had temps like that about 4 years ago, wasn't pretty.
Dave, are you going to be running your new HHO system in your F350?? Might have been cheaper to UPS your parts to the fairgrounds and then just shown up in a rented Prius and set up shop.

Heck Bob, it was well over 90 last year on Friday - then the skies opened

.
I considered using my wife's Escape, but since I'm bringing a couple of rear center sections figured she wouldn't be overjoyed with its' tail dragging - plus she's not been "checked out" on this big truck even after driving the '79 F350 SCab years ago - and that had an 8' box and was 2 feet longer plus she has to pick up her frail 93+ year old mother for a day out
