Of course I'm going.:D I'd have to be dead to miss this dance.
Since my project car parts are still all over the house, I'll be in the swap meet lot on Friday late AM - Sunday AM, probably in space 13 or 14, with my big ol' black F350 and a bed (partially) full of never to be used by me goodies ready to be treasured by the next owner:LOL: .
(Now, let's see, ~850 total trip miles @13 mpg = 65 gallons of gas x $4/gallon = $260 + $140 for a room + $100 food = $500 (for an expensive weekend in the sun and forever rain at York:HMMM: )
Dave, you better be selling a lot of your goodies and treasures if you intend to get back home.
Saw the weather forecast for next week this morning. Supposed to be beautiful...... thru Friday. 70's and 80's during the day, upper 50's and low 60's at night. CRUISING WEATHER!!
Of course, we all know weather people lie, so don't forget your rain gear.

Bob - Are you drivin back to Stewartstown every nite? Where do you usually park inside the gates? Ill be lookin for ya.
Dave - I'll be lookin for ya over in the swap section. Maybe you will have some stuff I want for my 34 Plym.. I know I will need to get that electric wiper motor for my 48, Huh?
Ya never know - though you're a year too late for the electric wiper.Quote:

You are sooooooooo funny.. C'mon, Mopar Guys PAY TO BE DIFFERENT. You all (Ford & Chevy Guys) know that. I'm so used to lookin forever and payin more for my stuff, that I usually make my own brackets to bolt it all too.Quote:

moparme wrote:Yes we commute. As for parking, I usually try to park on the grass to the right of the Toyota Center just after coming in the gate. It's just south of the swap meet area. Wife likes it there because you can see the cars coming and going and it's close to the Toyota Center restrooms (very important). :LOL:Quote:

I got more in common with a Bowtie  like the engine, trans, driveshaft and IRS. I'll try to catch up with you in the Ford junk area. :LOL:Quote:

I will be there each day. Looks like Fri/Sat it is going to be HOT
I was wondering if I could strike the raw nerve endings of the MoPar owners.
The reason that I ONLY almost feel sorry for you MoPar folks is that I don't have enough emotional pain left after having listened to the Chebbie belly buttons say the same thing over and over for 35-40 yearsr:LOL:
(bet I made some enemies today :toocool: :toocool: :3dSMILE:

Regardless of the car make, stop on over - I'll have the black Ford F350 4x4 crew cab, probably stall 13 or 14 - and we can at least compare widgets or how the phases of the moon affects peoples minds and high tides.:whacked:
I cant get up there until friday morning.
I was thinking about york this weekend, and realize I dont remember getting my registration back. So I ask the wife if she sent in my pre registration... Guess what, she forgot. So i'll be in the long line at the hotel, first thing friday morning. Will it Rain?
Usually not too bad at 0900 when they open - but 1000 - good luck!!!! Just don't "harm" your wife - she just forgot. Her penance will be to wait in line while you wander the Holiday Inn parking lot:DQuote:

Being hot (upper 80's or 90's) is almost as bad as rain, except my windshield don't leak with heat.  But that hot this time of year with the humidity is bad, bad, bad. Had temps like that about 4 years ago, wasn't pretty.
Dave, are you going to be running your new HHO system in your F350?? Might have been cheaper to UPS your parts to the fairgrounds and then just shown up in a rented Prius and set up shop.
Heck Bob, it was well over 90 last year on Friday - then the skies opened:( and it cooled down on Saturday.Quote:

I considered using my wife's Escape, but since I'm bringing a couple of rear center sections figured she wouldn't be overjoyed with its' tail dragging - plus she's not been "checked out" on this big truck even after driving the '79 F350 SCab years ago - and that had an 8' box and was 2 feet longer plus she has to pick up her frail 93+ year old mother for a day out:eek:

If either of the two of you need to find me, my cell number 717-515-5272. As my wife will tell you, small chance that I will answer, but you can leave a meassage. I hope to be in the area between Highland Avenue and the Toyota Center (TC) on the grass nearest the side of the TC. Should be there sometime on Friday, might try to set up the canopy frame on Thursday. Should be there all day Saturday and Sunday, regardless of weather
BTW, the weather forecast as of the local channel this morning was: Friday in the mid 80's with a 20% chance of an isolated T Storm; Saturday same temps and the same chance of an isolated storm:eek:, and Sunday clear and high of 87:toocool: . Monday will be 90. Fortunately for you Dave, you will be headed back to cool hills of NY, while I have to stay in PA and sweat.
Ah yes - a ringing phone - big bone of contention in my house. Thank goodness for Caller ID or I would NEVER answer the @#$% thing. My cell is 518-369-6851 (assuming I remember to throw it in the truck and even turn it on)Quote:
