HELP!!! I'm dying!!!
I have a 1966 Ford f-100 with the factory 352 Cleveland in it. I am having a problem with the truck dying everytime it is at an idle after the engine has warmed up, almost feels like the timing is a little off, the idle is a little low, any ideas???

Almost seems like vapor lock or running out of fuel. Maybe your pump is weak. I'd start there and see what kind of pressure it is putting out.

And after that I'd be looking at the Autolite carb sitting on top of the engine if it's stock. IMHO they make good boat anchors for toy boats.

If it's the original engine, it's an FE, not a Cleveland....What do you have timing set at? What is the idle speed??? Automatic or manual trans????Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Thank-you all for the info! It turned out to be a clogged fuel filter,Dave and 48ford nut I stand corrected, It is not a cleveland engine that I have, my mistake. Thank-you for the history lesson. Jas

It would be nice if this up and down crap would cease.
