I watched a few different videos of it reving up before running. In one a person is standing just a few feet away trying to get photos, right before the truck accellerates down the strip. I imagine you would get singed or at least blown sideways by the afterburner jet wash as it passed! I think I'd give it at least 10-20 ft!"

Thats not a fair race, the 1938 Texan T-6, a trainer can only go 200mph @ 5000 feet (170 at ground level) never was anything fast. just because it flies, does not mean it's fast.

The truck has 3 modern turbine engines, the Mig has 1 old school 1942-56 engine (the Mig-15 motor was used in Mig-17's), which did go 650mph, but it didn't accelerate as per today turbines.
