Havent been around in a while.. Been a busy beaver this winter.

Wow.. well its been a while since i was last here. Thought id bring you guys up to date on some of my projects.

Finally got a separate electric service for the barn. Been a year since i started the whole ordeal. But, still waiting for the service to be hooked up on the pole. Need to go through the state DOT now since we're on a state highway, guess they have to close the road while they hook it up.

Been working a little on my 31 murray i bought over the summer. Got some parts for it and theyre waiting their turn to be put on the car. Got a free 9" with 4.11 gears and a posi out of a bronco. Got a '53 f100 axle over the summer with brakes so those are replacing the old disk setup thats on there now. And i also got some 600x16 whitewalls for the rear and a '32 shell.

And this past week, ive been working on a 40 something chevy pickup i bought for parts for my '40. Started work over the summer when i had some time off and worked my bottom off to get it looking good. Couldnt bare to scrap the cab so i cut the roof off and turned into a roadster. Cut all the rust off the bottom and made new cab corners out of 18g sheet metal formed over my thigh. Made a new floor structure. Made a hallock type windshield out of 18g and welded the dash to the cowl to strengthen the whole thing. And no... its not really a rat. Looks like crap now but itll have shiny paint soon enough.

Looks like you have been busy Monster, both projects are looking great. I love the way the cab is turning out.

And that board actually isnt in my garage.. its in my friends. Worked on the cab there since i didnt have any room.... and dont have electric. My place in packed to the brim with plywood and insulation.. plus most of my tools and 2 cars. And do you really think id have frilly curtains in my barn? haha

I love the flames, I got a matching set on my anglia. And if your like me its only on one side of the car. Its amazing what you will do with a can of paint in your hand with nothing else to do.
