Which direction do I go??????
Hey everyone! I have been torn here lately on which direction to take the car in hopes of the right direction.
My father is not getting any younger and its now to the point he will not touch this car without me there. He has realized that one wrong decision can cause a lot of work and is always waiting to see what I think. Keep in mind this is his first car to ever own and now at the age of 70 he is thinking it will never be finished. My work schedule has kept me from spending much time on it and I can see what little time I get he is enjoying.
This is where some helpful opinions come in. The car is now set up with the LTI, 4L60E, Street and performance wiring harness. New Rock valley SS Tank with in tank pump. Heidts front end with Mustang outers. All the necassary floor pans cut and replaced. All the gauges are bought, New Steering column, genie floor shifter and E-brake. Seats he picked up at the Salvage yard out of a Ford, (still not 100% sure I like them---IDEAS??)
Ford 8 inch in the back, under floor Brake booster mounted, lines ran. New Aluminum Griffin Radiator for his car set up with a LT1, built in condensor and fan. American autowire complete wiring system. This list goes on.
What it does not have is primer on the car. Still setting like it was when he sanded it down in 68. Looks like he used 36 grit. Do to always being in a garage has helped with minimal rust. Frame has been sanded down and bare.
DO I
A: Hook everything up and get what is needed to hear it run and drive?
B: Take the motor out start on finishing all the body work and frame painting?
C: Any other options?
I didnt mean to write an essay, but just looking for everyones 2cents.
Thanks
