I don't think you can find a better place to be than a military installation when you are looking for cars. You've got people coming and going from all over. Put the word out, hang out at the base garage/hobby shop, find outwho the main movers are,and pick their brains. Meanwhile bankroll some bucks together,so if you find something, you can jump on it. Good luck,Hank

Very good point!!!! Money in the bank is always the best way to insure you don't get caught short when the "deal of the day" jumps up in front of you!!!! [Now, if I would just take my own advice!!!!!!!!! ]

If you decide to buy someones unfinished project....Go over it VERY CAREFULLY. You never know the skill level those involved in the project before you came along. Sometimes it's easier to start form scratch than fix mistakes other people have made.

I guess when your favorite beer is PBR, you're 21, single and in the military keeping money in the bank isn't a monumental task.

I mean I'm sure some of you Vets can attest to that...The military pays a little better now. The last pay stub that my Grandpa got when he left the Marines was for $100, and he left as an E-4.

Once again, thanks for all the good advice from all who have posted.
