Unfortunately what I did on my 'A' roadster really doesn't translate to a '37 very well. What you have to do is to make sure that however you run the actuating rods or cables it is well laid out to miss the window and its' operating mechanism. Are you doing electric windows now? That might make things easier as well.

I've had electric windows for years. My dad fabricated them when we first built the car. The motors still work well though the switches have gotten a little funky. I don't intend to redo the windows at this time. I'll just get new switches for them. Both front & rear windows are powered.

I don't think it will be too difficult to use my existing inside door latch mechanism on the new latches.

I'm accustomed to "leaking the sticky red stuff" but I'll try to minimize it where possible.
