I got thinking about building a custom body for my lawntractor, it's a very basic 42" cut 16 HP ( B&S engine ) craftsmen. I'm thinking if I stripped it down to the frame and engine/ drive axle, I could build a Model T body for it, flip the rear wheels inside out, so they stick out past the body, move the front end forward a few inches, extend the frame 6-8", build a Model T sedan style body. wire a high amp charging system to the original motor or get a new motor w/ a internal alternator charging system, 2 Deitz style headlights, Model A taillights. re engineer the engaugement controls for the deck and deck height. put a tach in place, and a volt meter .
