...1st a '65 Plymouth Belvedere I w/ a 383 & a Torqueflight {I think this was a big block?}. Then a '66 GTO 389 4 speed, then a '68 VW bug {was this a big block? , then a '69 Chev Nova SS w/ a 396 & M22 4 speed. I told the salesman I wanted a 427 in it & he ordered it but then said he was told he couldn't get it.... I guess he didn't know the COPO #??? Bill

For me it was a 66 vet coupe 427, 4 on the floor, had ac took it out, paid 1800 for the privilege in 68 after returning from vietnam, saved my combat pay for it.

Hey everyone my first BBC was a 67 Chevell SS396 4 speed. I was the second owner until i got married and the kids started coming. Had to sell that car and still miss it. Maybe i can dig some pics out and post them. Wish i had all those cars that i used to have back. All i can do now is Dream,Dream,Dream.

1968 roadrunner with a hemi and 4 banger ! sold it in 1983 for 6 grand !!! sheesh if i only knew what was gonna happen...

67 Mustang fastback 390 4sp. Out came the 390 and 28 spline rear and a 428CJ and 31 spline N case rear went in. Later I built a 427 off a used marine block and in it went. At any given time I'd have 4-5 big block cars. This was back in the day when things were cheap!! LOL. No so anymore.

My first at the ripe age of 51 is a 390 4 spd 67 Mustang Fastback . Rasing a family at 20 took most my priority's as most know of that .

76 Cadillac with 502 I bought for $600 in '95... A great car and very formidible land barge with the poor mans turbo charger (air box lid upside down ) Sounded sweet and hauled the mail. It was pretty beat up when I bought it and I ended up crashing it into a field and it caught fire and burnt it up after owning it not much more than a month . After repairing the functional fire damage it was a really mean looking scorched up car. Driving on the turnpike in rush hour was like moses parting the red sea It was also just the right size to put a high beam in each side view mirror of most vehicles

My first....a 71 Camaro. Man I miss that thing now. LOL's

61 ford Fairlane 390, 4spd, altered wheelbase, straight front axle. Wouldn't drive worth a crap, bounced all over the road, but it was the thing to do back in the day.

I bought a 1969 torino in high school with 428SCJ, 4 speed, 390 posi.....it would boil the rear tires OFF.... this was when good gas was costing me $.46 per gallon........them were the days!!
