What a great group, we all have trucks of the same vintage. We are in the process of installing power brakes as well (probably going to finish this weekend) we are going to tap into the carburetor for ours, the Holley we are using (still have to put that on there) has a port in the back that will work out great for us. we do have a port on the manifold too, but are going to the carb.

What did both of you use for the steering box? we have a 429 in our 51 and just mounted up a toyota steering box, which is cool, but now the headers don't fit and I am going to have to have Sanderson make me up a set it looks like.

I went with a mustang II so I have a rack and pinnion power steering.
are you using block hugger header. Custom headers could get expensive. I am more familiar with chevy motors so I am not a lot of help. good luck let us know how it goes. Ed
