vacuum
Thanks Ed
My 460 has a bunch of vacuum line around the carb and distributor that all seem connected, but there is a big hose with a bolt in it coming off the back of the intake manifold. I'll see what lies there first, and then check out the carb. Your picture of a truck looks quite similar to mine but cleaner! Have you ever converter brakes over to a power booster and if so, what modifications to the brake lines did you need to make?"

vacuum lines
I guess todays project is to get a vacuum line, then expore the underbelly of this beast. To answer Red, I'm stock in the steering department for now, until I can drive it and see how well the stock setup works. This is my first rod project, prior to this I restored a 1968 Mustang back to stock, and a 1968 BMW 1800(what a pain that was) The positive side is I'm 25years older and have a good job to finance this, the negative side is I'm 25 years older and it takes a few motrin at the end of the day to ease the sore joints and muscles!
Keep in touch on the trucks, and as I dig into the brakes I'll be asking for advice I'm sure. Steve"
