CHR back in business. Another HD down.
Well, it turns out there was another HD failure. This time it was one of the boot disks. Used the spare drive I bought last time around, reinstalled the OS and all of the necessary software to get the site back up and running, and here we are.
Lesson. I think I'm done purchasing 15k rpm HD's. Fast, but they don't seem to be so reliable.
Anyways, it's been a lot of late nights lately, and I hope we're through the storm. Next plan is to buy replacement drives all around to put off some of the troubles we've been seeing.
Sorry for the inconvenience folks.Brent Mills

I feel for you. A few years ago, my 'puter blew up. Like, boom! Smoke and flame and all that. Not a darn thing salvageable. Luckily, my brother had just put everything important on a disc. Whew!

Good to be back to normal.Instead of being part of the problem, be part of a successful solution.

Same thing I get, with same pictures and procedure I've used a million times. Something is still not fixed.

The last couple of weeks have been spent waiting on parts and getting the engine ready to put in the car. I found a manifold (turned out the guy I bought the center sump oil pan from had one). It’s...
