I have a '67 Chevy C-10 that I just bought not too long ago. I am planning on making it a street truck with a 50's hotrod kind of feel. Flat black, wide whites, Von Dutch style pin striping, that kind of thing. My question is this. Do you think it feesable to take a short bed fleetside, narrow to the width of a stepside, then mold in stepside wheel-wells so that I'd end up with the old school look of a stepside, but retain the body contours of the fleetside. I think it would look great, and be pretty simple to do, but if anyone has any imput it would be apprechiated, I have loved the hobby since I can remember, but this is my first project (I got sick of drving around in the family Taurus!).
