Just wondering if anyone has stuck one of these in a street rod. I have the 5.3 in my 2001 Silverado and it is sweet. Lotsa power and it loves to rev. As strong as it is pulling my 5000 pound truck around I can only imagine what it would be like in a rig that weighed a ton less. If you used the tranny too, you could change the Tow/Haul button to Haul A$$! Getting all the computer stuff right would be a challenge. With all the aluminum components it is probably lighter than a small block. Guess it is bound to happen sooner or later, just wondering if it already has.
