Was at a car show this week-end and saw this very radical 53 Studebaker. I had seen it before up at Hot August Nights, but did not have such a good photo op. He is running a 604 cu in Hemi complete with dual spark plugs and distributors. The car sits on an Art Morrison chassis and the detail is amazing.

What show was that?
The show is called Thunder at Depot Park. It'e every Memorial Day week-end Saturday in Rio Linda. The car owner came all the way up from Fresno.

Hey since you are a Jeep guy, you might like this one. Very clean, lotsa chrome goodies and certainly not something you see every day! He did get an award.

Did you talk to the guy that owns it? Is he an electrician named Bob? interesting. as surprised as I am to say it, it actually looks good.

Yes I talked with him for a while. He apparently has quite a collection of cars. No idea what his business is other than it must be fairly lucrative. Not sure of his first name, but I think his last name is Gardner.
