I was chatting with a friend on here and he asked about a build thread for my coupe. But I hadn't ever done one either but I think some of my "stuff" ended up in this thread... (maybe).

In any event it is a good time to razz R2 for allowing this project to languish into obscurity!

Sorry Randy.. we miss you buddy!

Haha, Mike!! You're right, this sorta became a build thread for my '37, your car, Dave's car and a couple others.....kinda flattering, kinda confusing but I'm always amazed that when the monthly reviews of CHR are posted, this thread usually remains in the top 3 of "most viewed".

It's true that it's been a while since I've accomplished anything on my '37. It waits patiently in my garage. There are a variety of "life" reasons why the delay but lack of desire isn't one of them! I love this car. My dad & I built it the first time when I was in college. It will one day ride again for sure!!!

In spite of the lack of activity on this thread, I still show up to CHR at least once a day and occasionally offer some smart ass comment or pertinent info.

A few months (or maybe a year by now! lol) ago I bought a new rear tail pan for the car. I cut out the old one but have yet to get the new one properly fitted. One of these days I'll probably start a new thread for that and appeal to all you who are master metal workers to walk me through the process of getting the best fit. Until then I'll just try to keep an eye on the rest of your projects.....
