Cool should i buy another 57 Chevy?

    Peace,

ok where i a getting my 57 4 dr sedan ( they were going to scrap it and use it as a couch ). i now am paying for it to restore it. it has a 283 v8, 4 bbl. partly restored already. now they bought ANOTEHR 57. a native to my state ( never been out of my state ) my car has rust in the usual spots. but the interior is VERY good, the motor good. now the other 57 body is very good, interior poor ( neds reupholstered ) and the no engine or trany. they want $2,500. would you suggest i buy it and restore that one to?

How about 1 hotrod custom and 1 original, yours has good original interior so use that as an original and the other's interior is shot, so use that is the hotrod custom and it's got no engine or tranny so it could never be compleatly original. Buy it.
You don't know what you've got til it's gone

There is a 57 sitting in the junkyard here in town. Its a 4 door. But I can only wish I could restore it. Needs a hood and a fender. Engine compartment has been gutted. If I were you I'd get it. But tht's just my opinion.
It ain't broke if you can fix it.

I say get the thing. I almost got the one that is down the way from me here but didn't since I got my 48. Those 57's in 4 door are sweet as hell.
