Actually, when I came back from getting the boat fixed, I did manage to kill the turtle. Then a couple of weeks after I killed the friggin thing, I found that they are on the "endangered species" list, and there is a kazillion dollar fine for killing the damned things!!! Needless to say, I didn't run to inform the nearest conservation officer. I hope that the statute of limitations has ran out on 'turtle murder"

I think I just saw this incident profiled on "Cold Case Files." Only clue they had was a yellow hot rod was seen speeding away from the crime scene.
