Thanks Ken, maybe by the end of June it will be in the paint shop. My buddy, the bodyman, just had neck surgery on the 24th, so he will be laid up for a few weeks the Doctors tell him. After that, he is going to finish the body work, and paint it for me. In the meantime, I have lots to do, like glassing the underside, etc.

Nice thing is, when it comes back from him I should be able to mount it and that will be the end of the hard stuff. (famous last words )

Man, that is gorgeous! I love that color! Judging from the first 5 or 6 pictures, it's a real "pussy magnet", too, isn't it?

    I hope so.

They are real hams, as soon as I get the camera out, they show up. I think they relate it to feeding ,because I usually feed them canned food at the end of the night, after I take that nights pictures.

Thanks James. I am starting to like it more and more now that stuff is going on. I'm glad I decided against painting everything the orange, it might have been overpowering. But man I'm really starting to get excited about getting this thing on the road. Daytona should be no problem timewise this year. Dan has been working on his too, and has the floor pretty well along, so I'm going to make sure his makes it this year too.

    BTW, how is yours coming??

Thanks Bobby. I finally feel like progress is being made. Nice to be bolting stuff on rather than fabricating brackets and stuff.

Don, here comes the part I like so much, brake lines, fuel lines, and wiring harness. So I'm just a little weird, I know when I get to that point, it's not long before I'm driving.

Yes sir, only the best for my little $ 3000.00 car. Actually, the cost isn't real bad, couple hundred buys most of the lines form somebody like Inline Tube. Dan has a special bender for it, and he's going to do the measuring and fitting for me (he's much neater ).

Yep Brad, that's the part I don't mind either. At least it's relatively clean work compared to all the other stuff.

I'm kind of taking a break today, got the slicks dismounted this afternoon, so now I can prep and paint the rear wheels. Tie rod should be here some day this week, so I can paint them all at the same time, I hope.

But for the rest of today, I'm gonna kick back and watch Judge Judy.

Thanks guys. That beer sounds like a good idea..........think I'll join you.

John, barring some unforseen problems, I won't be a spectator at Daytona this year. (for a change )
