Is this a Suburban? If so, what year? If not, what make/model is it and what year?
I also have a picture of the motor and a few of the interior. If those will help in identifying, let me know and I'll gladly get them posted as soon as possible.

it's a 53 Chevy panel truck. The Suburban had windows in the sides and extra seats.

Okay so its clearly a panel, not a suburban, the the flat split windshield means it not a '54 or '55 1st.
But with no wing windows, no door handles and no cowl vents on either side, how do you identify it as a '53? Frenched headlights, signal/parking lights in the front bumper, sunken plate custom rear lights. None of the usual clues are avaible. IF you assume the doors with no wing windows are stock, its a '50 or earlier, but that doesn't seem a safe assumption.
Please enlighten me.
Did Chevy put out a lot of these panel trucks or no?
By the way, my dad finally decided to send me the link where he found the pictures. According to the article it is a '48 Chevy Panel, not a '53.

As Steve says, it's had a lot of the clues cleaned off of it. It may, or may not be a real '48. Some guys will finagle a '48 title so they can take the rig into an NSRA event which has the '48 cutoff. If you like the general style, then '48 to '53 will do it, and even the '54 and 1st series '55 look very similar with the exception of the windshield and grille.
