Just my 2cents ...www.semaactionnetwork.com
I've never been one to talk anybody into anything, but I've found something that I believe is worth sharing with my friends who love their cars. Please take it as such. No, I don't win a contest if all of you sign up either… I promise!
Most of you already know all about the SEMA show each November, but did you know that SEMA is who protects the auto-enthusiasts against increasing government legislation that we consider unfair or unjust? These legislations apply to every car, whether it's a Concours restored Model A or a hot rod (my favorite).
Go to http://www.semaactionnetwork.com and join the SEMA Action Network. It's designed for aftermarket manufacturers, OEM's, car clubs, and individuals to know what's going on in their states and regions so that you can make a difference.
These are the people who stop states from crushing cars just because they're 25 years old, stop emission testing on cars older than 25 years, continuously work on CARB to allow performance upgrades to late model cars that don't affect emissions, refine the lift and lowering laws to be reasonable and increase safety, among many others.
If you're interested, give it a shot. If not, thanks for you time!
That is terrible, sad to hear about him.
