It looks like they took an extra hood and cut off the front, narrowed it and welded it on under the grille. Then bondoed it in.You can almost see where it was cut and welded in the middle. In my opinion those pods on the hood were ugly to begin with and this is just twice as much of something I never liked. If I was forced to do this for a customer I would have mounted them upside down. The grille looks like the center of a 1955 Desoto grille and the headlights could be most anything. It reminds me of Pierre's Caddilac. If I owned it I might keep the custom grille but I'd remove the custom bodywork and find a front bumper.
