The only Streamliner I can think of was a Pontiac Wagon made in the 50's...

Th photo below is a prototype made a few years back in the spirit of nostalgia that Detroit has brought back during the last severial years with cars like the T-bird, Prowler, and PT Cruiser...

The Pontiac Streamliner was offered in both versions throughout the 40's and into the 50's... Here is an example of a wagon... I don't recall ever seeing a Desoto Streamliner but it sounds feasable... Let me look around and see what I can find...

Looks like a British Ford Anglia. Who knows what year they all look alike to me. lol
The car shown at the very top of this thread is a 1936 toyota sedan. Toyota copied chrysler styling and copied chevrolet engines. It is not a chrysler airflow, or even an american car.

I am a bit too young to remember the Pearl, but I do know a bit about history... I am not too good at holding a grudge, but then again I have never had to fight a war!!! This car was preWWII, maybe that will help you feel a little better about it!!! :)

Bobby G - Way to go!... I really thought this one would be around for a while, a Japaneese car with american styling!!! Heck, I would even consider making a Street Rod out of one of those some day... Even though t this was pre-WWII, this car and company could well be considered part of the begining of Japan's industrial revolution... Below is a pic of the assembly line in 1936...
Shhhhhh... Nobody tell Streets that I have a 68 Porsche sitting in the garage right next to my Hiboy!!! :(
