In my opinion it's just a completely different type of car that either gets your motor running or it doesn't. Most hot rodders are not going to be driving a porsche either (at least my observation), while the Cobra attracts folks for appearance and the idea of very spirited road course type driving. Power to weight ratio is also something that people oogle over on these cars, as you can stick in serious hp in a low weight car, and everyone knows what that means.

What attracts me to Hot Rods and Cobras is just ANGRY SCARY BELCHING power and aggressive looks. This is why I would put a 41 Willy's with big cubes, blower, tubbed, etc...at the top of my Hot Rod list.

In the end, we all just like what we like. I don't think owning a cobra means I own something better or worse than any of the people I come in contact with. It's what I like, and it so happens that others like it too....The same story for all Hot Rodders.
