Cool. I haven't had a set of Dodge Lancer hubcaps since the 60's.
Hey drg84 ''David''..........Thanks for posting these pictures for me.
Well here's another project.......I had another moment of ''Hotrod weakness''
My basic plan's are........Pull the Mustang 5.0 and drop in this little 392 Hemi thats sitting in the shed. Then air bag the suspension. Fill in the fender where the spare tire was mounted. And a few other little modifications.
Then the big descision..........Big fat whitewall tires and chrome smoothies...........or 20x10 rear 5 spoke mag's and 18x8 front mag's...........descisions......descisons:confused:

DrHotrod---I like your truck. Is that chrome grill insert from a Ford car? I built a 56 in 1975, and customized it extensively. The only thing I didn't do was chop the top----I didn't have the guts to try and cut that enormous wrap around windshield that the 56's had. I put a 390 Thunderbird engine in the truck in the picture. It had gobs of power, running thru a c6 automatic. I could perform an absolutely amazing smoke show with it, but really it didn't hook up worth a darn, even with 13" wide tires on it. I even went so far as to weld a section of railroad track that weighed about 200 ponds between the rear of the frame rails, but it didn't help. The grill opening was made from 2" muffler tubing and mandrel bent corners, with Monte Carlo headlights and grill teeth from what I think was a 56 Buick on a home brewed support frame.
Now that is very different looking.
Nice Truck......Brings back memory's, square headlights.......and building grill's with kitchen door knob's..........my mom would get so mad at me for ''boworring'' her cabinet knobs to lay out a new custom grill.Quote:

Yeah, those 390's had ball's behind them.
Very Cool...........Dennis
Hey, Dennis, how'd you make the bed look like that? That is a real interesting treatment. I've been tossing ideas around in my head for my Effe's bed. Haven't come up with a solid answer. But my head hurts. Hehehehehehe:p :p **) **) :whacked: :whacked:
Hi Duane......I can't take the credit for the Truck. It's the way that I got it. But, I'm getting ready to add my own touches to it in the near future. Right now I'm finishing up my 23T for the summer or at least the rainy season to get over so I don't have to drill drain holes in the bottom.
THE NAKED NINJA:whacked:
