Looking for opinions what color should it be

Finished this bad boy last fall and haven't decided what color to paint her and winter is half over.
Let me know what you think.

Purple is a very popular color for hotrods. Traditional flames stand out good on a grape purple car. My '51 will be a medium dark grape purple.

I like it the way it is too. That shiny stuff just makes you mad the first time you get careless and chip it with something. (Like damn jack handle but I uhhh wouldn't uhhh know....)

Me buy a hot pink car? maby when I become color blind to the color red. I like purple hotrods, Hot pink could look cool if it was done to the right car. Generally, pinks do look nice on late 50's cars when done a 2 tone pink and white combo.

Pink looks good on a female-driven race car Matt. That's all I can think of.

Hey you know a paint job I haven't seen in a while.....

    Doily.(sp)

You know you old guys its a paint job where you lay a doily as a pttern and clear over it or something like that. Little help please I can't find any pics at the moment. It used to be so cool painted on vans and the like....

That was done by spraying a color over a "lace" doily, like the side of this body I bought many years ago.
