my latest purchase. ever seen one?
Hmmm what to do with this? (click to enlarge)
This is an early Fenton small block Chevy 3x2 that I just picked up. Carbs and water neck are not bolted down. Carbs need rebuilt. But I like it! Any idea what years Fenton made this type of intake? It has the early tube beside the water neck. Couldn't find any company history online. Thanks,Bill

This Fenton beauty is going on a '67 283/pg set up that I'm going to put in my '52 Ford F1 pickup. Paint what paint? Carbs are currently getting completely redone/replated, "the works." Thats funny you speak of a 29. Going Friday w/ a friend to pick up a '29 he just bought. Think he's going the nailhead route.

The manifold is exactly like an Edelbrock that I have. It even has the little raised things on the left side runners for machining. It also has the provision in the back drivers side for the 55 Chevy water temp probe. That was a 55 only deal. I have a pic of my manifold on the car in 57. The carbs are absolutely 55 Chevy carbs. They are the only ones with the little hats for bowl vents. The whole thing is probably mid to late 50's.

On a bitterly cold winter morning a husband and wife were listening to the radio during breakfast. They heard the announcer say, "We are going to have 8 to 10 inches of snow today. You must park...
