I just found a picture of my first car. This is 1965 and it's a '39 Ford Deluxe 2 door with a '55 265 Chevy on an Offenhauser adapter. The car is lowered a little with longer shackles.

My first.
58 bug, with a 12 inch lift and 36 inch tires.
1973 Ford F-100, three on tree, straight six, geard low, STILL HAVE IT!! Bought it for $400 in 1986, 18k miles then, 64k miles now. Followed by a 1967 Ranchero with 390, then 1975 Firebird 350, 1986 VW Rabbit (I know, sad, but this little five speed was a blast to beat on), and on the list goes.
Sorry, my pics were all destroyed by fire. BUT, my very first, bought by ME. First car, was a Brush (more like a mop) Painted, John Deere green and Yellow.....................................BUICK ROADMASSA!!! 1955,,,,, the year of purchase was about 1964. What a tank. We used it to bring (herd) the cows in for milking. I built a dirt track, way out back next to the river, about 1/4 mile sod. I still remember the first time we (my younger brothers) rolled her over in a corner. She (and we) survived that one and several more before the motor was pulled for a Hot Rod project..
dont have a pic. of my first car which was a 1956 chev. with a 348 in it, but i do have one of my first dirt round track car which was a 1955 chev. car. talking about a one horse operation. i was the builder, driver, mechanic, tire man and gas man. this was in 1973. :D

here was my first dosent run or nothing but the engine isnt locked up on her.
My first car was a 1970 Torino GT Fastback, starting working full time during the summer at the sod farm when I was 14 to pay for it. When I first bought it was painted red with white stripes just like the Starsky and Hutch mobile so I had to take it to Earl Schib (SP) and have it repainted metallic blue. Had a 302 with a 3 speed on the floor with dual exhaust and Thrush mufflers. Photo was taken around 1979.

Heres my first car, which was a 16th birthday present from my dad. It's a 73 Mach 1, 351C with an FMX automatic. For the next year and a half, I saved every penny I could to build the 351. When it was done, it had a re-jetted Holley 600, Edelbrock Performer, mild head work, Hooker Super-Comp headers, and a pretty wild cam; overall duration 294 deg, .564 int. and .536 exh., and the usual items during a rebuild such as timing chain, oil pump, fuel pump, etc.
I ended up selling it when I was 21, and I still miss it.
*edit* sorry about the pic size, but I dont know how to make it a little smaller

Hey pro
I just found that picture today in a box of stuff the wife was getting ready to throw out. It's a bone stock '40 standard that I bought in Culver City, Ca. in '63 for $125. Sure wish I still had it.
